Mystery artists play concert in unique Painted Hall

Fancy doing something different this summer? Why not enjoy a concert of mystery artists in the unique Painted Hall at Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College?

On Friday 29th July, as part of a summer concert series that includes iconic locations Westminster Abbey and the London Transport Museum, the Old Royal Naval College hosts an intimate live music concert. It takes place in the stunning setting of the Painted Hall, with three mystery local artists performing.

As a Sofar Sounds concert, it’ll be a unique experience, letting you see the beautiful Painted Hall like never before. Sofar Sounds are a global music community who’ve already helped launch the careers of a few well-known acts. They’re known for their secret, live music shows all over the world; transforming unique spaces into captivating concert venues. Their concerts feature all kinds of different musical styles and you don’t know who’s performing until they take to the stage. But once you do, it could introduce you to something you’ll never forget.

Summer events at Old Royal Naval College

This quirky and intimate concert is just one of the fun events you can experience as part of the Old Royal Naval College’s summer-long programme. The heritage attraction is also inviting you to spend time on their sunlit lawns, relaxing or playing games. And taking part in their Summer Lates events.

The Summer Lates also take place in the Painted Hall and continue on selected Fridays and Saturdays until the end of August. This after-hours event lets you unwind in elegance with refreshments in The Undercroft Café and guided tours.

The Old Royal Naval College is the centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has a long and celebrated 500-year history. Today, it’s a diverse cultural destination and one of London’s most popular venues, filming locations and visitor attractions.
