If you’re looking for a mix of cheesy, cheap entertainment and tasty food and drinks then how about a night out with the Crap Film Club? They bring screenings of naff movies to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the pub.
And next month is the turn of 1980s VHS gem Never Too Young To Die, showing at north London pub, The Old Queen’s Head. This popular Islington pub is much-loved for its ornate and quirky decor. While the film itself is something else. It features the usual high-school hero as the main character but with added absurdity from stunt dummies, terrible seduction scenes and Gene Simmons. You can catch this B-movie action adventure comedy on Monday 30th May 2022 at 7pm.
If you book in advance, tickets are only a fiver. So, you’ll still have enough money for a cheeky beer or two and a Kevin Bacon or Truffle Shuffle burger while you’re there. Plus, the Crap Film Club promise to have snacks, competitions, prizes and other rubbish to enjoy.
