To celebrate their 10th anniversary, contemporary circus company Lost in Translation will return to Norwich this summer with their outdoor season, INTERLUDE in the CLOSE. It runs from 14th July to 30th August and features a mix of comedy, family entertainment, spoken word, and of course, circus.
There’ll be an international line-up of guest companies, culminating with a week of performances from Lost in Translation.
This final week will see some Circus Lates taking place, featuring unique and inspirational evenings of live entertainment. You can expect a good mix of cabaret, burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety to liven up your summer nights. These Circus Lates will celebrate performers of different arts forms and backgrounds, bringing back all the joy, celebration, hilarity, cheekiness, and irreverence that we’ve missed in recent times. And the final day of the festival will be a circus-based celebration of community and togetherness in the city.
As well as the INTERLUDE in the CLOSE festivities, Lost in Translation’s 10th anniversary programme includes a London tour. So, if you’re in the capital, why not head to one of the venues around the city?
INTERLUDE in the CLOSE is presented by Norwich Theatre and Lost in Translation Circus with Norwich Cathedral and Norwich School. It’s designed to be COVID-safe and COVID-resilient. So, it’s likely to go ahead, whatever the Government guidance happens to be.
