Charlotte Holmes Top Secret
Fancy joining Charlotte Holmes on a top secret adventure this summer?

The adventure unfolds over seven days, providing artistic and educational fun for the school holidays. It’s an escape for young adventurers and adults alike, with more than ten hours of play time to keep families amused.

A top secret adventure with Charlotte Holmes

Charlotte Holes: TOP SECRET is created by theatre producers The Big Tiny. They’ve worked with the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield and Lancaster’s treasured arts venue The Dukes to bring you this adventure. It follows the success of last year’s Charlotte Holmes: Adventure Box and continues the series.

The first experience followed the story of a young girl evacuated to Yorkshire during World War II. Set in 1940, Charlotte Holmes: TOP SECRET picks up this story. It sees Batley Hall being turned into a military hospital, run by a stern matron and ferocious major. The world is in peril when a ‘Top Secret’ military asset is stolen from the hall.

Holmes is fed up of being told off all the time. But then a German spy breaks into the estate and the whole site is locked down. It’s up to Holmes to piece the clues together, unmask the villain and save the war effort. From map making and orienteering to gardening and code cracking, help navigate a world of undercover spies, secret codes and military intelligence. Piece together the clues and solve the mysteries once and for all.

Keep amused this summer

This new adventure is aimed at children aged 9 to 13 years. And once you’ve got your adventure box, you’ll have everything you need to play along, including toys, posters and puzzle books.

The Big Tiny are theatrical imagineers, specialising in family entertainment. From their workshops in Greater Manchester they manufacture all things show related, from puppets and pantomimes to sets and scripts. So, we’re sure there’s more adventure to come!
