You might think with COVID-19 restrictions still in place, that celebrating St Patrick’s Day is going to be impossible. But, Beer52 has a quirky solution.
Beer52 is the UK’s largest craft beer subscription service. And this March, they’ll be hosting the world’s first lockdown virtual St Patrick’s Day celebration. The event will feature 24 lovingly curated Irish brews to sample and two evenings of entertainment.
The entertainment will be live-streamed from Beer52’s Irish theme pub. The Irish Craft Beer Road Trip will feature Irish music, comedy, brewery tours and chats with the brewers. Plus there’ll be a pub quiz, prizes and celebrity cameos. As well as the entertainment, you’ll get to meet other craft beer lovers from the comfort of your home.
The Irish Craft Beer Road Trip hosts Richard Croasdale and Doug Garry will be joined in their custom-built home pub by some of Ireland’s most respected craft brewers. These will include White Hag, Whiplash, Boundary and Rascals, discussing their beers live.
The Irish Craft Beer Road Trip will run over two nights, from 6pm to 10pm, on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March. Tickets will cost £34.99 per night and includes 12 beers, or £64.99 for a weekend pass with 24 beers. This is a special early-bird deal though.
Beer52 have pioneered the online beer festival format, and have already hosted four successful live streaming events.
