Bring in the New Year with an inspiring Zoom talk on one of London’s hidden gems.
The doors to London’s St Bride Library first opened in November 1895. It wasn’t long before the library’s collection of books, artefacts and ephemera on printing, typography, paper-making and the graphic arts became world renowned.
Now, 125 years later, St Bride’s is still inspiring creatives. And so, the first lecture in their anniversary series, Inspired by St Bride, celebrates this.
From attending lectures, to getting inky in the print workshop and getting lost in the stacks researching in the Library, St Bride’s inspires all sorts of people. Join Becky Chilcott, Dave Crossland, Tom Etherington, Alistair Hall, Sophie Hawkey-Edwards, Andrew Long, Simon Loxley, Sarah Pasquali, Vaibhav Singh and Kath Tudball to hear how they’ve been inspired.
The St Bride Foundation is currently running a 125th anniversary crowdfunding campaign. You can donate to the fund here.
