Gisburne Park’s Christmas pop-up and drive-in panto

This Christmas, a socially-distanced festival will be popping up at Gisburne Park in Lancashire.

Enjoy a Drive-In Pantomime at the Gisburne Park Christmas pop-up

This family-friendly Christmas extravaganza will take place over a thousand acres at Gisburne Park, which is located in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

At the heart of the event will be a large traditional outdoor market with craft stalls, food vendors and pockets of interactive, socially-distanced, Christmas-themed entertainment for all ages.

Entertainment will include the UK’s largest drive-in pantomime, and a Covid-safe outdoor Santa’s Grotto with live reindeer and Santa’s helpers.

The events will kick off on Friday 4th December with the first drive-in pantomime, Aladdin. A further eight pantomime performances will take place the over the month, so there’ll be plenty of chances to catch a show.

The organisers have implemented COVID-19 and Tier 3 safety measures to ensure that families can still enjoy the magic of Christmas while remaining safe.

A large outdoor, open-sided barn, will be home to festive food stalls and street food trucks. An app will allow you to order festive treats as a takeaway whilst you enjoy some classic Christmas entertainment.

A tipi village will be set up for Santa’s Grotto, with timed slots to keep everyone safe. There’ll be plenty of time to pet the reindeer, receive a small Christmas gift and meet Santa in a socially-distanced manner.

This festive event will be running every weekend throughout December, up until Christmas.
