Expect late night tales and terrifying yarns as the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich host their first Halloween Late.
Enter the Painted Hall after dark, for an evening of haunting ghost stories and live music. During the event you’ll also be able to enjoy food and drink from the Painted Hall Café and the Old Brewery.
Greenwich’s iconic Old Royal Naval College will be teaming up with historical performance collective, History Riot, for this special bone-chilling Late. History Riot will weave terrifying yarns of strange occurrences, vengeful spectres and colossal sea monsters; as sailors, nurses and long dead inhabitants of Greenwich past gather to swap ghost stories from across the rolling seas.
Venture underground to the Painted Hall Café and enjoy refreshments amongst the ancient ruins of Henry VIIIs Tudor palace.
If you fancy heading to this Halloween Late, the £20 ticket will include the evening’s entertainment, a mulled wine at the Old Brewery and an annual pass to the Old Royal Naval College.
Following the weekend of Halloween Lates, the Old Royal Naval Naval College will kickstart their new visitor scheme, First Sundays. From Sunday 1st November, all visitors can enjoy the Old Royal Naval College with its rich history, and the beautiful Painted Hall, for just £5. Plus, all accompanied children under 16 years will go free. First Sundays will continue to run on the first Sunday of every month.
