Are you looking for an alternative to trick or treating this Halloween? Then Captain Fantastic may have the answer, as a new immersive virtual event is launched.
Families can join Captain Fantastic’s Virtual Trick or Treat from the comfort of their own home. So, children across the country will be able to join the spooktacular adventure and trick or treat in a Covid safe way. How does it work?
Captain Fantastic has been kidnapped by the evil Dr Zob. It’s the audience’s job to go door to door (virtually, that is), meeting the various residents of Spooksville to gather clues. Children will complete challenges – collecting plenty of sweets along the way – in order to find him.
The event will be held over Zoom, with the help of five entertainers who will guide families through each virtual door. Little ones will be encouraged to complete fun tasks and find silly clues in order to help them find Captain Fantastic.
Adults, all you will need to do is make sure you have a stash of sweets at the ready!
This family-friendly, online trick or treating experience, has been created by children’s entertainers Captain Fantastic and theatre producers Edward Andrews and Eleanor Russo of Bedouin Shakespeare Company.
