Bite-size drama on a postcard

By Caroline King - July 13, 2020Posted in : Art, Literature, Theatre

Before the Covid-19 outbreak, Nottingham-based New Perspectives brought high quality theatre to village halls and arts venues in rural areas. Now, they have devised a novel way of reaching isolated rural audiences through a six-part drama, written on a series of specially designed postcards.

NEW PERSPECTIVES Love From Cleethorpes
New Perspectives’ present the unique Love From Cleethorpes

New Perspectives’ Love From Cleethorpes will give audiences access to an artistic experience outside of digital screens, with a six part ‘postcard drama’.

Once you’ve signed up, a different card will arrive at your home each day. By reading each card, you will be able to piece together a relationship between two people, told over a 30-year correspondence, travelling you from Cleethorpes to Nottingham via New York.
