Take a virtual Yoga retreat this bank holiday

By Caroline King - May 7, 2020Posted in : Classes & Workshops, Food & Drink

As we continue with social distancing, whilst pub gardens and holiday resorts remain closed, we can still embrace the delights of the summer season in other ways.

Take a Yoga retreat this bank holiday

This bank holiday Friday (8th May), Eco-wellness company As We Live and Breathe are offering a one day online retreat. Participants will be treated to yoga, nature-connection practises, meditation, seasonal cooking lessons, fire, ceremony, myth and magic as the facilitators delve deep into the pagan rituals of Beltane Festival, celebrating the start of the summer.

The event will be held online via Zoom from 1pm to 9pm and participants will be encouraged to take nature connection practices outside (into a garden, local park, woodland; whatever is local to you).

The retreat programme will include Yoga, meditation, a talk on snacks and seasonal cookery, sessions on Nature Connection and ‘Out on the Land’, Yin Yoga, and stories and myth sharing.

When: Friday 8th May 2020
Where: Online via Zoom
£: Tickets are offered on a ‘pay what you can’ scale of £30 – £50
