Slapstick festival aims to bring Laughter in Lockdown

Bristol’s annual Slapstick festival of classic screen comedy will be continuing its Laughter in Lockdown series this Friday by releasing film of their unique live events.

Next up will be footage from the Feast of Fun fund-raiser hosted at St George’s Brandon Hill, Bristol, in September 2016 by pun master Tim Vine. The event features stand-up sets by John Cleese, Rory Bremner and Barry Cryer; comedy songs from Barry, Ronnie Golden and Neil Innes and an introduction by festival board member Graeme Garden.

The film will go live on the festival’s YouTube channel this Friday (April 17th) at 10am, with links to it also available from Slapstick’s website and from the festival’s Twitter, Facebook and Insta accounts.
