This Spring, Teatro Vivo and Croydonites will present free broadcast show Grimm’s Collecting Agency, and they need your stories.
In this time of crisis there are things that can help us through: Acts of kindness, neighbourly generosity and the brilliantly ludicrous things we decide to put on YouTube after days of self-isolation.
Teatro Vivo and Croydonites want to celebrate all of these things, and so they are setting Grimm’s Collecting Agency to work.
Collecting stories is a family business for the Grimms, handed down through the generations; ever since their great great great great grandfathers, those famous brothers, heard the one about Hansel and Gretel.
For the next few weeks, the agency will be holding on-line interviews in a bid to assess the state of our beleaguered nation.
The Grimms will be collecting stories. Your stories… What’s getting you through the crisis or what acts of kindness have you experienced? Do you have a funny tale to tell that might help people to keep laughing? What glorious things about your local community are making this all bearable?
If you’d like to share it, then they’d love to hear what you have to say. Book a video interview slot with the Grimms over the next few days and record your story! The interviews will create a video to be streamed to celebrate the kindness and joy in the midst of the Corona Calamity.
When: On-line story collecting will take place 31st March – 8th April 2020, and the free broadcast of final show on 1st May 2020
