Leading hip-hop and street dance company Impact Dance presents Outrageous Behaviour, a festival weekender of battles, conversation and interaction, with some of the best companies and choreographers influenced by the African Diaspora.

Over two days of conversation, workshops, showcases and performances, Outrageous Behaviour will be inviting debate on what it means to be outrageous and how that helps young people in the creative process, challenging political correctness across all of society’s different spaces.

The festival will feature a diverse programme of dance, including The Landscape, a showcase by some of the top dancers, companies and choreographers working in the UK; and The Interaction, a workshop lead by elite tutors influenced by dance of the African Diaspora.

The Conversation will open up the floor to a debate and discussion focusing on youth empowerment through dance; and The Battle, an interactive dance evening, will see three teams go head to head as part of a humorous interactive improvisation event.

For nearly 25 years, Impact Dance has motivated, inspired and nurtured young people through hip-hop and street dance. Through dance training, mentoring, creative performances and international projects, Impact Dance enables young people of all backgrounds – particularly those from less privileged locations – to develop their creative and life skills, and discover their talent.
