Local business owner Mary Stansfield, is bringing the only festival dedicated to cake to the Cumbrian market town of Kendal this weekend.

Stansfield’s Ridiculously Rich is a luxury bakery business which makes Gooey Chocolate Brownies, Sticky Toffee Flapjacks, and chunky Rocky Road. The festival will showcase some of these tasty treats alongside other local bakeries and producers.

Festival-goers can expect handmade patisserie from The Sunflower Kitchens; bread, sourdough and cakes from The Coffee Kitchen; handmade fudge from Do Me a Flavour Fudge; the popular Grasmere Gingerbread; as well as cake decorating tuition and supplies.
