This year’s Ipswich Maritime Festival will feature historical re-enactments, craft and food stalls, a bar, children’s activities, a fireworks display and a stage with live entertainment.

Visitors will be able to meet pirate crews and Georgian style sailors, as well as take part in Georgian craft activities and workshops. Visitors can also learn maritime skills with the help of Ipswich Maritime Trust.

There will be maritime themed inflatables, including an octopus and a shark’s head, a funfair, plenty of ships and vessels, and two days of live entertainment. There will also be craft stalls to browse, a food market, a waterfront bistro, and a bar selling real ale, spirits and wine.

When: 17th – 18th August 2019, from 10am
Where: Ipswich Waterfront, Ipswich, Suffolk
£: Free
