Dress up for a Bohemain Rhapsody & Beetlejuice weekender

By Caroline King - August 20, 2019Posted in : Cabaret, Cinema, Food & Drink

This bank holiday weekend, the quirky Picnic Cinema will be screening Bohemian Rhapsody and Beetlejuice in the heart of Eskdale Valley.

Surrounded by mountains, and based near the Woolpack Inn, Hardknott Pass, the event will offer cinema goers the chance to dress up, join in with daft games and scoff pizza.

An alternative to the usual outdoor cinema experiences, the Picnic Cinema event invites guests to dress up in Freddie Mercury/Beetlejuice themed attire, camp over and let their hair down (and their inner front man shine). The evening involves audience games, quizzes, interviews and music before the main screening.

The Woolpack Inn will be on hand serving up takeaway pizzas and other treats to Picnic Cinema audiences, along with their regular bar and breakfast offerings.

Tickets start at £15 for the entertainment and film to £25 for tickets including camping. Glamping options are also available via Belle Hotel, meaning you can just turn up to a pre-pitched tent and enjoy the weekend in style.

When: 23rd & 24th August 2019
Where: Eskdale Valley, Cumbria
£: Tickets £15 – £25. Camping and glamping options available
