Meet Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest

Join Robin Hood and his band of merry men this August in Nottinghamshire’s Sherwood Forest, for a fun festival with outlaws and wacky characters.

This year’s Robin Hood Festival will include a new live show featuring Robin Hood, his merry men, Marian and the Sheriff; as well as jousting, comedy, magic tricks, potions, medieval music, falconry, wacky characters, and tricks and stunts.

In addition to the family-friendly entertainment, there will be an array of merchants selling their wares, including Buckles Medieval-style Artwork, The Roving Apothecary, Woodland Spirits, and Nature’s Harvest Handmade.

The festival will kick off on Monday 5th August with three grand tournaments in sword fighting, archery and jousting, as well as activities and roving performances.

When: 5th – 11th August 2019, 11am – 4pm daily
Where: Sherwood Forest, Forest Corner, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire NG21 9RN
£: Free admission (Car parking costs £6 and programmes £2)
