Maritime themed fun in Devon’s unique village

Clovelly is a unique village in Devon, that offers a step back in time with its car-free cobbled streets. This weekend, the village will be hosting a Lifeboat Weekend & Maritime Festival in aid of the RNLI.

On Saturday and Sunday, the family-friendly event will have food, craft, and information stalls, a BBQ and plenty of entertainment. There will be live music, stilt entertainers, event-themed arts and crafts, storytelling, children’s activities, Punch & Judy, face painting, tug-of-war, games and competitions.

On the Saturday, visitors can watch a two mile sponsored swim and the Clovelly Cup Yacht Race. In the evening there will be live music in the harbour and a pub quiz at the Red Lion Harbour Bar. On the Sunday, there will be lifeboat operational displays during the day.

When: 3rd & 4th August 2019
Where: Clovelly harbour, Clovelly, Devon
£: Admission to the village costs £7.75 for adults, £4.50 for children and £21 for a family. Children under 7 years go free
