On Friday 21st June, celebrate the longest day (Summer Solstice) by taking part in some traditional Aztec cultural rituals on a London rooftop.
As part of the summer event series at the Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop, and curated by proud Mexican-Londoner Paula Feregrino-Rodriguez, traditional Aztec dance group Atlachinolli will be holding a spiritual celebration.
Guests can join in with the celebration from 6am on the Friday, welcoming the sunrise with rituals from ancient Aztec culture. The event will start with a traditional Aztec flower carpet, where guests can join in, hands on, with Atlachinolli.
With a background of live, hypnotic, flute and drums, you’ll will be invited to purify your spirit, sing and dance, and learn more about this fascinating ancient culture.
