Celebrate World Gin Day this weekend with a special gin trail and a four metre Gin Pour from a top floor parlour window.
For this year’s World Gin Day, there will be a host of themed activities taking place across London, along with some unique drinks to try.
Mr Fogg’s household staff will be putting on a gin spectacular for all to witness at Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour on Saturday, as they attempt London’s first four metre Gin Pour, from the top windows of the parlour.
The Botanist have teamed up with a number of London bars – Boisdale of Belgravia, Opium, The Blind Pig, The Shrub and Shutter, The Little Yellow Door, Le Pont de la Tour and Jin Bo Law Skybar – to offer guests foraged gin-based cocktails.
The Little Yellow Door in Notting Hill will be bringing you London’s first chlorophyll-based brunch cocktail. Aptly named The Hangover, this body purifying breakfast tipple packs one hell of a punch with more health benefits than drinks can shake a stick at.
Aster restaurant and bar in Victoria have gone all out with their special gin cocktail, served with an edible cone filled with champagne pearls. The bespoke creation aims to be pretty on the eyes and the taste buds with its strawberry red hues.
Scottish sensations, Mac & Wild, are launching their new summer cocktail range including their Smoked Salmon Infused Gin. Possibly the most unusual and adventurous tipple to try for World Gin Day 2019.
Bluebird Chelsea will be celebrating on Saturday with a Fever-Tree Perfect Serves Menu, collaborating with Fever-Tree to create a menu of summery flavours, and a quintessentially British garden on the sun-soaked terrace. The menu features an array of G&Ts, including Perfectly Pink G&T made with Pink Pepper Gin and Aromatic Tonic garnished with lemon and lavender.
Finally, Modern Peruvian COYA, has designed a unique and artistic cocktail in celebration of World Gin Day. The White Pearl is a mixture of Monkey 47 Gin from the Black Forest in Germany, ocean flavoured Pisco, Verjuice, fragrant sandalwood soda, and fleur de sel.
