This June, head to Gloucestershire for a run with an added incentive… Beer!

Stroud Beer Race 2018 - Gloucestershire events
Race for the reward of beer and a unique medal

The Stroud Beer Race 2019 will take place on Monday 3rd June and will challenge participants to a 7.2 mile road run, with free beer for the first 100 to finish.

The course will be three laps around Mininchampton Common near Stroud, starting at the Old Lodge Inn on the common. Stroud Brewery will be providing a free half pint of beer to the first finishers (as long as they are aged over 18 years of course). All finishers will also receive a unique medal for their efforts.

And if you’re still thirsty after the race, why not head back to the Old Lodge, or one of the nearby pubs, for a few more beers and a bite to eat?

The Stroud Beer Race will be hosted by the Stroud and District Athletic Club.

When: 3rd June 2019, race begins at 7pm
Where: Race begins at the Old Lodge Inn, Minchinhampton Common, near Stroud, Gloucestershire GL6 9AQ
