A Merrie May Day in London

Head to the Geffrye Museum in London this weekend, to celebrate the arrival of spring.

The Merrie May Day will take place on the museum’s front lawns, with a traditional Maypole and dancing, as well as food, activities and stalls for all ages to enjoy.

May Day stalls and activities will include the Geffrye Explorers’ Garden Cart, upcycled eco insect hotels from Alan Briggs Bughouses, spring plants and herbs from Rootcraft, vintage fabric furnishings from Leah Rose Designs, and beautiful blooms from Tooting florist Gray & Greenery.

There will also be plenty of food and drink on offer during the day, with BBQ-style food from the Sunshine Curry Club, homemade cakes from Feast London, and locally brewed beers from Hackney Brewery.

When: 4th May 2019, 11am – 4pm
Where: Front lawns, The Geffrye Museum of the Home, 136 Kingsland Road, London E2 8EA
£: Free admission
