The town of Whitby is steeped in history with its Abbey ruins and connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, making it the perfect location for a goth festival.
Whitby Goth Weekend takes place twice a year, in Spring and Autumn with a range of events from live music to alternative markets.
This month’s event will feature DJ nights, live music, and a party inspired by Jim Henson’s Labyrinth with a live Bowie tribute. There will also be the Bizarre Bazaar, which promises free entry and more than 100 stalls, an alternative model of the year contest, and beer tasting evenings.
When: 12th – 14th April 2019
Where: Whitby, North Yorkshire
£: Ticket prices vary, depending on the event. Admission to the bazaar is free
