An open water swimming challenge in Glasgow

Red Bull’s Neptune Steps is an open water swim with a difference, that takes place on Glasgow’s Forth & Clyde canal.

Taking place on Saturday 23rd March, the event will challenge brave competitors to a series of obstacles, in addition to a 400m swim. This year’s course will include a 4m cargo net climb, a 4m wooden ladder, and a 3m climbing wall, negotiating the canal’s locks.

Spectators are welcome to watch the event and there will be food and drink stalls available.

Where: Maryhill Locks, Glasgow, Scotland G20 0JH
£: It costs from £35 to enter. Free to watch
