This weekend, Dalemain in Cumbria will be turning orange as it plays host to the 2019 Marmalade Festival.
This year’s event will include marmalade themed stalls, demos, displays and entertainment. There will be food, drink and crafts in Dalemain’s historic courtyard, and cookery demonstrations from Will Torrent, Dan Lepard and others.
Find out how to make marmalade chocolate, tarts and ice cream, or what makes the world’s worst marmalade. There will also be marmalade themed talks and Q&As, as well as the chance to sample artisan marmalades and view thousands of homemade marmalades in the house’s state rooms.
Quirky marmalade themed entertainment will come in the form of a human fruit machine, juggling and the Marma-lympics. There will also be lectures, live music and a visit from Paddington Bear.
When: 16th March 2019
Where: Dalemain House & Gardens, Penrith, Cumbria CA11 0HB
