What is it?

This December, take a walk through Battersea Park and visit Pear Tree Cafe’s Christmas Market, with 50 vendors selling artisan food and drink products, as well as luxury gifts.

The market will take place on their charming terrace which overlooks the boating lake.  Visitors to the market can expect carol singers, mulled wine and festive favourites including mince pies.

Over the weekends, Pear Tree Cafe will be serving a festive menu alongside Christmas themed crepes and mince pies.  There will also be a raclette stand (serving molten cheese with charlotte potatoes, cornichons and pickled pearl onions) and a marshmallow fire pit rolling out s’mores.  Spiced mulled wines, warming cocktails and hot chocolate will be served from the hatch, helping to get guests in the yuletide mood and stay toasty whilst wandering around the market.

Pear Tree Cafe London, Christmas Market 2018 Market vendors will include foodie favourites such as Rococo Chocolate, as well as artisan cheese from Paxton & Whitfield, loose leaf tea from Good and Proper Tea and sparkling English wine from Wiston Estate.

For design lovers there will be luxurious cashmere blankets from Zanula, playful gentlemen’s boxers from Pandora’s Boxers and whimsical stationery from South London Letter Press.

A personalised hamper service will run throughout both weekends, for market goers to build the perfect gift by picking up a basket and filling it with their loved one’s favourite treats and trinkets.

On Sunday 2nd December, the Chelsea Pensioners will be singing Christmas carols at the market, and on Tuesday 4th December, the cafe’s resident yoga company, OyoGO, will be putting on a day of wellness.  On Thursday 6th December, Freddie’s Flowers will be doing a Christmas floral arranging workshop.  Learn to create festive fantasies to take home, followed by a yuletide three course dinner with drinks in the cafe.
