What is it?
Bluebird Chelsea has launched a weekly movie night with films, food and cocktails to warm up winter cinema-goers. Foodflix has transformed Bluebird’s cinema room into an extraordinary winter orangery and guests will receive Cointreau cocktails, food and popcorn from Bluebird. Sit amongst orange trees and tuck into tasty food and cocktails whilst the films’ soundtracks encapsulate you.
Until early December, the Cointreau Winter Orangery at Bluebird will be offering stylish cinema evenings every Tuesday, with a list of films that have been chosen for their superb soundtracks. Escape the cold winter air and bring your musical film-loving friends for movie screenings including Love Actually and The Holiday.
Guests will receive Cointreau Fizz (Cointreau, sparkling water and freshly squeezed lime juice) on arrival from the pop up bar, ready to enjoy as they settle down to watch the movie. Alongside this, Cointreau will also be serving two of their celebrated cocktails, the Royal Sidecar and Hot Cointreau Mulled Cider for that warming festive feeling.
Bluebird has created a menu of upmarket cinema grub, alongside popcorn from their resident popcorn machine, as no cinema experience is complete without it. Guests can either have the Bluebird Hot Dog with spiced pork, pickled cabbage and chilli mayo or their Vegan Burger of mushroom and edamame with sriracha mayo and baby gem.
This creative collaboration between Bluebird Chelsea and Cointreau will invite guests to get cosy on comfy sofas and chairs and shut out the cold. Light will flood the room giving an orange glow as dangling dried oranges sit next to winter flowers and orange trees. Crates of oranges will adorn the vintage wooden pop up bar, which will be set up in one corner of the room.
