What is it?
This year’s Celluloid Screams, Sheffield’s Horror Film Festival, will take place from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st October.
The festival opens on the Thursday with a special gala screening of Mandy (Director: Panos Cosmatos, 2018), followed at midnight by a screening of Halloween (Director: David Gordon Green, 2018), showing on the eve of its nationwide release.
The festival continues over the weekend with an array of new, classic and short films, including a special screening of the Wellington Paranormal series, which will feature guest appearances from Karen O’ Leary and Mike Minogue, and show writer/producer Paul Yates, who will introduce the screening and take part in a Q&A.
The festival will close on the Sunday evening with another gala screening and closing night karaoke party.
