What is it?

The 68th British National Ploughing Championships will take place in Warwickshire on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October, with more than 250 top ploughmen – and women – from all over Britain expected to compete.

The event kicks off on the Saturday with a parade of competitors at 9am, followed by horse and vintage tractor ploughing.  On the Sunday there will be a parade of ‘plough off’ competitors, who will compete in the finals.

Over the weekend, visitors to the Ploughing Championships can see steam ploughing engines at work in The Great Steam Challenge, agricultural machinery demonstrations, and vintage and rural craft displays.

There will also be trade stands, stalls, and country crafts, tractor and trailer rides, heavy horses, hot food, and a bar.
