Luminarium – Architects of Air – by Alan Parkinson

Architects of Air’s Luminarium will be popping up in Harrogate

When: 12th – 15th July 2018

Where: West Park Stray, Harrogate, North Yorkshire

£: Tickets cost £5 for adults, £4 for children and children under two years go free (visitors can book in advance or queue and pay on the door)

What is it?

This month, take a step inside the Luminarium, an installation with a difference in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

The installation is made from coloured pvc, shaped into tunnels and caverns that visitors can wander through by following by a map or wandering at random.  The Luminarium is designed to change with the weather and time of day, as bright light, evening light and cloud alter the hues and ambience inside the installation.

The Architects of air’s Luminarium is designed to be a treat for the senses as daylight is transformed into a delightful palate of colours with a subtle soundscape to enhance the experience.
