What is it?
Head to Gloucestershire for a run with an added incentive… Beer! The Stroud Beer Race 2018 will take place on Monday 4th June and will challenge participants to a 7.2 mile road run with free beer for the first 100 to finish.
Entrants can register on the night, just turn up before the 7pm start. The course will be three laps around Mininchampton Common near Stroud, starting at the Old Lodge Inn on the common. Stroud Brewery will be providing a free half pint of beer to the first finishers (as long as they are aged over 18 years of course).
And if you’re still thirsty after the race, why not head back to the Old Lodge for a few more beers and a bite to eat?
The Stroud Beer Race will be hosted by the Stroud and District Athletic Club.
