What is it?
On Sunday 20th May, the quirky LostFest will take place in Cornwall with an eclectic mix of music, dance, demonstrations and activities.
Entertainment will kick off at around 10.30am and carry on into the evening. Music and dance performances throughout the day will include everything from samba to morris dancing, barbershop quartets to pop. This year’s entertainment will include Re-Choired, Plymouth Ukulele, Champagne Ladies Chorus, Pied Pipers, Tyw Morris and Medieval Dance.
The festival will feature plenty of stalls, full of arts, antiques, crafts, gifts and food, plus there’ll be a host of demonstrations and workshops to enjoy.
For visitors who like their history, LostFest will also have medieval battle re-enactments courtesy of The Black Company, and performances of 15th, 16th, 17th and 19th century court and country dances from the Renaissance Historical Dance Society. Visitors can also explore the town’s museum and delve into Lostwithiel’s past.
For the children there will be plenty to do, including face painting, arts and crafts activities, an inflatable assault course and a forest school.
Lostfest will run into the evening with live music from MorZim and Bonetired, and beers from Skinners tent.
