What is it?
Framlingham Soap Box Race will take place on Sunday 20th May, with challengers in handmade carts competing to race the fastest downhill.
All the carts will be powered simply by gravity, and competitors will be racing against each other and the clock. There’ll be primary, high school and adult teams taking part, all with creative and fun cart designs. The course will run down Market Hill with straw bales and a ramp to negotiate.
During the day there’ll be plenty of entertainment, and food and drink on offer, including a BBQ and ice cream.
