What is it?
Truro Day will take place on Sunday 10th September, with more than 50 community groups showcasing their contribution to the area.
This year’s event will feature performances from the City of Truro Band, the Jason Thomas Dance School, Perranarworthal Choir, 4FS Street Dancers, Top Notes of Truro, and Leski, a duo playing hammered dulcimer and the fiddle. The event will also feature the Truro Cornish Wrestling Tournament.
There will also be a Nostalgic Truro Display, with hundreds of old Truro photographs and post cards. Visitors can also expect beer from Skinners Brewery, children’s rides, face painting, a raffle, pasties, burgers, hot dogs, ice creams, cream teas, a community sing along, a fire Engine, Police Community Stand, candy floss, a vintage car display, a Dutch organ, bouncy Castle, pony rides and storytellers.
