Man v Lakes 2017

The giant slide across the Man v Lakes finish line

When: 15th July 2017

Where: Morecambe Bay to Lake Windermere

£: Costs from £165 per person to take part (this includes a timing chip and technical t-shirt)

What is it?

The UK’s most adventurous marathon-distance running adventure, Man v Lakes, takes place this weekend. The event challenges participants in a 26.2 mile run from Morecambe Bay to the shores of Windermere; incorporating swims, wades, hills, a floating assault course, a rope swing from a crane, and a giant water slide across the finish line.

More than 700 people took part last year, and this year the event is expecting to attract just as many brave souls. This year’s participants and their supporters can also enjoy an after party with music and a real ale bar.
