What is it?

This year’s Catch the Wind Kite Festival will take place on The Promenade and at The Platform in Morecambe, on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June.

The event will see kites of all shapes and sizes flown by professional kites flyers.  Visitors are also encouraged to bring along their own kites to fly. Over the weekend there will live music, arts and crafts, street entertainment, stalls and children’s activities.

This year there will be a Catch the Wind Ceildh on the Saturday evening (tickets cost £10), with local band Price of My Pig playing folk music with a twist, and Uncle Tacko and The Imaginarium providing extra entertainment throughout the night.
