What is it?

This half term, Willows Activity Farm in St Albans will be hosting their annual Sheep Racing event as part of their Spring Special, from Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June.

Willows Farm will be competing with the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot as visitors are invited to watch the sheep ‘bleat’ the competition on the Willows race track. Every child will receive a token to bet on their favourite sheep to win in the ‘sheepstakes’.

Tuck the Shepherd will be giving live sheep shearing demonstrations to show visitors how the team remove the fleece from the Willows’ flock, ready for the summer months ahead.

Willows is home to the PETER RABBIT™ Adventure Playground, including the Jeremy Fisher Musical Pond, Lily Bobtail Nature Discovery Area and Jemima Puddleduck Coop. The farm also has an indoor Cottontail Village and Woolly Jumpers Indoor Play Barn for children.
