Darkroom Discovery - Discovery Museum - Newcastle When: 24th May 2017

Where: Blandford Square, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4JA

£: Tickets cost £50 per person (plus booking fee)

What is it?

Take part in a traditional photographic silver printing workshop at Newcastle’s Discovery Museum on Wednesday 24th May.

Darkroom Discovery celebrates the world of silver-based photography.  This workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn how photographs were created before the digital era, and how it is still a very popular technique used today.  Participants can bring along some of their own negatives to learn how to process films and make prints in this unique environment.

Professional tuition services will be provided by Jonathan Bradley, and will cover all black and white film and darkroom practice including film processing, printing and darkroom setup.
