What is it?
Hosted by The Workshop’s artists in residence, the Spring Makers Day will be a rare opportunity to participate in a selection of three free two-hour creative workshops.
Choose from three creative mediums; life drawing and painting, woodwork or sculpture. Each will be hosted by The Workshop’s artists in residence; Chris Baxter, Luke Haseler and Mark Bennett. Subject to availability, you can take part in one, two or all three sessions across the day. Whether you’re looking to unleash your creativity or simply try something new, this free day of adult creativity promises to leave you feeling inspired.
The Workshop is a new community and events space located in Lambeth, within the former fire engine workshops of the London Fire Brigade. The space is available for the local community to use, discover and enjoy, and is home to a variety of local charities and social enterprises, all dedicated to inspiring creativity and exchange knowledge. The Workshop hosts a variety of events including vintage markets, free yoga sessions and creative workshops.
The Workshop is also home to the free London Fire Brigade Pop Up Museum, open Wednesday to Sundays, 10am to 4pm.
