Head to The Royal Society in London for prize lecture, Photovoltaic Solar Energy: from the photoelectric effect to global power generation and beyond.
2017 Kavli Medal and Lecture award winner Professor Henry Snaith FRS, will be exploring key discoveries and advancements of a new family of photovoltaic (the direct conversion of light into electricity at the atomic level) materials that have emerged over the last few years. These materials promise to deliver the next generation of more efficient and cheaper photovoltaic cells.
