The Hunterian Museum in London is a great little museum, dedicated to anatomy and pathology. It can be found at the Royal College of Surgeons building, on the south side of Lincoln’s Inn Fields.
The museum’s collections are a fascinating mix of comparative anatomy and pathology specimens, complete skeletons, wax teaching models, and historical surgical and dental instruments; as well as paintings, drawings and sculptures. The museum holds regular public events including lectures, family activities and workshops.
This half term there will be two wonderfully quirky events, suitable for the whole family, taking place at the museum.
