What is it?
In London? Make more of your lunchtime with the Hunterian’s lecture on Tuesday 28th February.
For Empire of the Eye, Kristin Hussey will be discussing how we see the eye, and eye surgery, as a unique crystallization point in medical ideas travelling from East to West and back again.
Lunchtime lectures at the Hunterian last approximately 45 minutes, with time for questions.
The Hunterian Museum collections are a fascinating mix of comparative anatomy and pathology specimens, complete skeletons, wax teaching models, and historical surgical and dental instruments; as well as paintings, drawings and sculptures. The museum holds regular public events including lectures, family activities, workshops, late openings and study days.
