What is it?
Don’t let Americans have all the fun this month. Why not celebrate Thanksgiving in London by taking part in a Doughnut Decorating Workshop at The Book Club in Shoreditch? It might not make up for the trauma of Trump, but some sweet food fun might just help to ease the pain a little bit.
Join Vicky, founder of Hackney bakery Vicky’s Donuts, for a masterclass in decorating doughnuts. Think indulgent all-American flavours like pumpkin pie, toasted marshmallow, maple and pecan. There’ll be fillings, icings, and decorations, and you’ll be shown the technique to create your own masterpiece, which you can either take home or get stuck into on the day.
The Book Club will also be serving a pancake brunch prior to the event, should you want to get yourself energised for some dough-art.
