What is it?
Hackney Showroom and The Geffrye Museum present a special late night opening, as part of And What? Queer Arts Festival and Museums at Night. No Place Like Home on Friday 28th October will have singing, dancing and glittery workshops.
Discover what home means to some of the UK’s most prominent LGBTQI artists. The evening will have sermons, dance routines, love songs, talks, cocktails, workshops, performance, a makers market and buckets of glitter.
Artists and performers will include Scottee, Lasana Shabazz, and Frau Welt. Make glitter shoe clips with the PupTart Glitter Workshop, or enjoy one of the talks by Rachael Scicluna and Sean Curran.
This will be followed by a big bendy knees up in the bar with songs and dancing around the piano.
Hackney Showroom is a cultural centre based in East London, producing a range of theatre, arts and entertainment. And What? is a pan-London Queer Arts Festival, featuring more than 130 artists and 25 events, in 15 venues.
