Camp Hill Sausage and Beer Festival 2016

The Sausage and Beer Festival.

When: 23rd July 2016, 12pm – 6pm

Where: Camp Hill Estate, Kirklington, Bedale, North Yorkshire DL8 2LS

£: Tickets cost £5 – £55

What is it?

Fancy a day of feeding your face with some tasty bangers, washed down with some equally tasty beer?  For the third year running, the Camp Hill Estate in North Yorkshire will be holding their Sausage and Beer Festival.

This year’s festival will have a BBQ, live music, local butchers, demonstrations and a variety of ales. The event is family friendly and will have a bouncy castle, face painting and a dog agility course.

Camping will be available on the Friday and Saturday nights, so you can make a weekend of it.  Why not enjoy a beer or few with live music in the barn on the Friday night?

This year the Sausage and Beer Festival will have a BBQ twist, along with live bands, and up to 20 local butchers supplying samples of their finest sausages.  There will be plenty of hot food outlets and stalls, as well as BBQ demonstrations and a BBQ competition.

Get into the festival spirit.

There will be two camping areas, Family Camping and Festi Camping.

The Family Camping area will cater for guests who prefer a quieter camping experience. The area will be kept reasonably quiet after 11pm, so that sleeping children or sleepy adults are not disturbed.

The Festi Field, sometimes referred to as Night Owl Camping, will be for all those who like to keep the party going a little longer.

Last year more than 1500 people attended the event, and this year is expected to be just as popular.
