What is it?

The 9th annual Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade will be bringing celebration and spectacle to the streets on Sunday 26th June 2016.

This year’s parade will be on the opening weekend of the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival, and part of the Yorkshire Festival.

Workshops are held in the weeks prior to the parade, when the community gets busy making weird and wonderful giant puppets.  These creations are the main spectacle in the Handmade Parade.

If you fancy watching this year’s parade, then make sure you head along to Hebden Bridge for 12pm.  The parade will be making its way from Victoria Road, down Valley Road, through St George’s Square and Bridge Gate, to finish in Calder Holmes Park.

At the park there will be a mini festival of live music, dance, street theatre and food stalls.  The event will continue until around 4pm.
