What is it?
London has recently gone bingo bonkers with Mecca Bingo, Musical Bingo, Rebel Bingo and even, er Bogan Bingo. But now the game, enjoyed by fun-loving OAPs across the country, is going football crazy.
Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen will be hosting a tongue in cheek game show to accompany all the England games, with the first one on Saturday 11th June at 8pm.
So, if you are bored with standing in your local, clutching a warm pint of cheap lager as wanabee football pundits tell you what the beautiful game was like back in their day; then why not break the mould and challenge your mates to a game of Britain’s favourite pastime, whilst watching England rise to victory (or drop out in the first round)?
Alongside your favourite teams battling it out on the pitch, you and your friends will be able to compete against each other in a football themed bingo hall, complete with an MC referee hosting the game, a Champions Cup, and of course, the half time bar.
The venue’s resident DJs will be playing the best (or worst) football anthems, old and new, as well as a mix of party heavy dance music to take you through the rest of the evening. Beat the bartender games will also be on offer to keep you well lubricated, whether your team wins or loses.
Patterns in Brighton will also be hosting Euro Bingo for all the England games. Both venues will be screening all the Euro games this summer.
Football fans at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen can indulge in some Midwestern American food from the bar snack menu, while punters at Patterns can feast on fully loaded gourmet hot dogs at half time.
Euro Bingo will be played on Saturday 11th June at 8pm for England v Russia, on Thursday 16th June at 2pm for England v Wales, and on Monday 20th June at 8pm for Slovakia v England.
