What is it?
The Fuzz Club presents Under The Arches, a new monthly record label market and gig in London Fields.
Ambitious London label Fuzz Club have joined forces with 12 other top independent labels from around the globe, to create a monthly showcase of the best music in the rapidly expanding psych scene.
Having launched last month at London Fields Brewhouse, Under The Arches, returns at midday on Saturday 2nd April. There will be a label market hosting the most interesting names in underground rock ‘n’ roll from the US, UK and Europe, including Captured Tracks, Fire Records, Hands In The Dark Records, Mexican Summer, Rocket Recordings, Slovenly Recordings, Sonic Cathedral, Hot Salvation Records, 1234 Records, Software Recording Company, Anthology Recordings, FLUFFER RECORDS, and NYC’s Sideman Records with a selection of rare and vintage Americana.
Labels will be ensuring this is an event for vinyl enthusiasts to drool over with specially curated selections of pre-releases, limited editions, and special pressings each and every month.
From 5pm a selection of bands from every different corner of the psych spectrum will take to the stage touching on shoegaze, blues, kraturock, garage, space rock, noise, folk and electronica. Featuring live performances across the months from Clinic, The Underground Youth, Electric Eye, Chicos de Nazca, Cult of Dom Keller, Josefin Ohrn + The Liberation, Tess Parks, Younghusband, Gum Takes Tooth, Pretty Lightening, The Third Sound, 10,000 Russos and many more to be announced.
Legendary Liverpool psychdelicists Clinic will be headlining the April event. The surgical masked cosmonaut cadets will be playing a very special one-off show showcasing work from their seven albums.
Joining them will be DIY sonic alchemists The Cult of Dom Keller, ahead of the release of their third album. Catch their whacked out soundscapes before they decimate the Great Escape Festival in May. German blues-rompers Pretty Lightning and London’s abrasive M!R!M complete the line-up.
Dirty Burger will be keeping the crowds fed and London Fields Brewery will provide free craft beer tastings and tutorials throughout the day.
