On your bike for the Brompton World Championship in London

What is it?

The 10th annual Brompton World Championship final will take place in central London on Saturday 1st August 2015.

The championship will see 575 smartly dressed competitors race around central London.  This year will be the first time that the race has been held in London.  Brompton riders will have the chance to race a circuit which takes in The Mall, Horseguards Parade and Buckingham Palace.

The day will begin at 11am with registration for the riders in St James’ Park, as well as family activities and entertainment for the spectators wishing to make a day of it.  There will be a Freecycle ride, allowing riders of all ages and abilities to cycle through the very centre of the city on closed roads.  There will also be the Brompton Urban Challenge, a type of scavenger hunt with a series of tasks and challenges that will take participants all over London. The championship race itself will begin at 5pm.
